To Select an Internal Participant (delegate responder) to Respond to a Submittal on Your Behalf (portal)

  1. Go to the Incoming tab.
  2. Open the submittal from the list.
  3. In the upper right corner of the submittal, click the menu and select the Delegate option.
  4. If there is more than one recipient who is required to respond or just acknowledge, the Delegate incoming package window opens. Select which original recipient will not be responding or acknowledging and click Continue.
  5. In the Select delegate window, select a delegate responder (the person who will be responding on behalf of the selected original recipient) and click Confirm.
  6. In the Confirm delegation dialog, click Confirm.

The internal participant selected as the delegate responder is sent an email notifying them that they have received a submittal.

The Recipients tab of the submittal now shows which internal participant has been delegated to respond on behalf of which original recipient. The delegate responder will have the same actions (acknowledge and respond, or just acknowledge) as the original recipient.
